Bed of roses

antoher picture for my art portfolio. again on an A3 papershee painted with watercolors, pencils and chalks.
alltogether i needed 1 week to finish it. the roses took most of the time. first i made the lines for them, then i painted them completely with one colour(but every rose another color) and then i did the shadows etc. of every single petal....took me about 4 days^^° and then i lined the roses again, cause the watercolors made them blurry.

i liked the idea of a dead person lying there, so she looks a little bit unrealistic with her read skin and the ice blue eyes. my sister said it looks a little bit like snowwhite>u<
